In-service Measurements

 

We have sensors to capture the following physical values:

 

•   Force
•   Pressure
•   Torsion
•   Displacement
•   Temperature
•   Acceleration
•   Material strain (strain gage)

 

We perform measurements in our laboratory (internal) or at customer sites (external). In-service measurements are used to analyse the causes of damages and failures in installations and components. By measuring the above physical properties, we can detect both load peaks and local increases in stress. The results are then used to create or modify load assumptions in test specifications. Opportunities for statistical evaluation are outlined in the presentation of results. Our measuring equipment can record 300 static channels or 50 dynamic channels simultaneously. We achieve sampling rates up to 10 kHz.
