In 2006, PMZ Kassel was established both as a spinoff from the University of Kassel and as a management buy-in for the ThyssenKrupp Transrapid Testing & Measuring Technology Center. Emerging engineers from Kassel University bring with them the latest skills and knowledge which – in combination with know-how and equipment from ThyssenKrupp – enables us to implement and apply scientific damage models for mechanical load measurements using digital technology. Our roots mean that we have a particularly broad knowledge and experience in the following fields:
| • | Railway Technology, Transrapid |
| • | Automotive Technology |
| • | Aerospace Technology |
| • | General Mechanical Engineering |
| • | Agricultural Machinery |
| • | Plastics Technology |
